The right features.
For the right location.

Choose a focused set of functions, then establish the infrastructure and operating responsibilities needed to make them useful.

01 / INFORM

Passenger information & signage

Arrival predictions, route information, service alerts, local announcements and digital content. Live information requires compatible transit data and an agreed integration.

02 / CONNECT

Wi-Fi & device charging

Public connectivity and charging options can make the stop more useful. The configuration depends on available backhaul, power and the owner's service plan.

03 / COMMUNICATE

CCTV & public announcements

Explore cameras and audio as part of a coordinated public-space system, with clear coverage objectives and operating responsibilities.

04 / SUSTAIN

Solar, lighting & sensing

Consider solar-supported loads, lighting and environmental sensor options. Energy demand and site conditions determine the practical solution.

A coordinated infrastructure project

Good technology starts
with a good site plan.

01

Site & structure

Identify location, placement, access, structural needs and the approvals required by the project team.

02

Power & network

Establish utility availability, power demand, communications coverage and service ownership.

03

Data & content

Define transit data availability, content ownership, update workflows and integration requirements.

04

Operation & support

Plan maintenance access, training, documentation and the support arrangement for the installed systems.

Final features, manufacturers, availability, engineering, permitting and commercial terms are confirmed through project development. The illustration is a concept, not a completed Touch AV installation or a fixed product specification.

Planning questions

Before the first installation.

Can the shelter show real-time arrivals?

Yes, a compatible passenger information system can display arrival data. The transit agency or data provider must make an appropriate feed available, and the integration needs to be included in the project scope.

Can solar power the entire shelter?

That depends on the connected loads, operating hours, shading and available solar resources. Solar support is evaluated against the actual design rather than assumed to power every feature.

Are all of these features included?

Each shelter is configured for its location and purpose. A project may prioritize passenger information, communications or selected amenities. Equipment, services and support are quoted for the agreed configuration.

What should we send Touch AV to get started?

Send the proposed locations, shelter quantity, site photos or plans, desired features, available power and connectivity, transit data contact and your target schedule.
